isn't the UPDD V7 driver already available? As far as I could read this should fix a lot of errors. or am I wrong?
How does it look?

I haven't noticed any differences between V6 and V7 and things are working great a usual so not sure which errors you are referring to.

ok.. i'm referring to the error that UPDD causes my iMac to create a bunch of empty folders, the mouse goes completely crazy, becomes quasi uncontrollable and both my RAVEN start blinking uncontrollably. At that moment the iMac becomes unusable and unresponsive until the USB connection of my two RAVENs to the iMac is lost. I uninstalled UPDD at the moment because I can't work any other way. I will not use my RAVEN again until there is an update that fixes the bug! I've tried everything..but after a short time everything goes crazy again. it must be due to UPDD! because since the software was uninstalled, my Mac isn't going crazy anymore. Other users also have this problem. slate.boards.net/thread/9398/updd-flaking-outslate.boards.net/thread/9339/screens-keep-flashing-start

FWIW: My system is much like yours (10 core iMacPro). I’m running Big Sur. I have not experienced any problems even close to that.
I’m not negating your issue, cause obviously it’s real.
I’d suggest putting in a support ticket and maybe having a live session with Jamey Z or someone at Slate. Doing that has quickly and thoroughly sorted out some issues for me in the past.
Just a thought. Good luck.

do you have two or just one RAVEN on the iMac? this problem appears to only occur with a RAVEN dual system.. if I only run one RAVEN, the error does not exist. Jamey has helped me once or twice. Unfortunately the error occurs again after a short time. I even reset my iMac Pro to no avail. both RAVEN are connected directly to the iMac, but this still happens.

Ah! I see. I no longer have two Ravens.
I'm sorry you are having this type of issue. Been there with other things. It's frustrating as hell....
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Best of luck.

Is the USB plugged directly into the computer or a hub?? If a hub try to plug direct into the computer, or if you are direct into the computer please try a different port. If that doesn't help, please try a different USB cable, as I have seen some USB cables not have enough power to power the touch screen.

Sounds like the 2nd RAVEN you are plugging in has a bad USB port, touch panel, or USB cable.

I wrote that. my two ravenm are connected directly to the imac pro and the usb cables are new and were quite expensive. and besides, if i only use one raven everything works and it doesn't matter which of the usb cables i use. both raven only cause the problems.

Sounds like one of your RAVENs is getting false touches and the touch panel has gone bad. I would contact support for further troubleshooting. slatemediatechnology.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

my RAVEN work perfectly in single mode, each one individually! But as soon as I run them in dual mode, they go crazy and nothing works anymore. So I can't imagine that one of my MTis2 is defective. It must be the UPDD driver. I have uninstalled UPDD at the moment and leave my RAVEN unused.. what a pity !!
