Hey there,
Just got my new Raven Mti2 and am becoming increasingly frustrated with Batch Commander. I realize this is only due to my inexperience though. It seems to take a lot of trial and error until you can get it close to right.
I'm trying to create a batch command for this:
1. Color all selected tracks, 2. send all selected tracks to an aux bus
Now, that alone is easy.
What I want to do is say I don't have an aux bus created yet, so I want to 1. create an aux track, 2. change it's input to 'DRUMS' then, 3. send all drum tracks to that aux bus. I of course would like to colour all of those drum tracks as well (not the aux bus).
Whats the best way to go about this?
The trouble I'm running into is, when I tell Batch Commander to change all of the drum tracks output to 'DRUMS', it creates a bus output in the I/O called 'DRUMS'. That's fine. But when it gets to the step where it creates an aux bus track and I want it to change it's input to 'DRUMS', it creates a separate I/O called 'DRUMS.1'. So in the end I have all of my drum tracks outputs being sent to 'DRUMS', but the input of the aux track is 'DRUMS.1', which is obviously not where I want them to go.
Any idea?
Thanks!

Ok, so I figured out how to create a custom track preset and have made a batch command to load that track hack preset. Now, what I'm actually trying to do is this: If that aux track preset I just made (a drum bus in this case) isn't in the session yet, but all of my drum tracks that I want to send to it are, I want to be able to select all of my drum tracks and then have a batch command that will add the track preset I made (the aux drum bus), color all of my drum tracks and then send all of my drum tracks to the drum bus aux.
Is this possible? I don't think any of the links you sent explained how to do that. Unless I'm missing something.
I understand I could do this with two separate batch command buttons on the Raven. One to insert the track preset aux and then another to send all selected tracks to it, but it would be great to just do it with one touch.
Also, how did you get those little 'track preset' buttons in Batch Commander like you have in your video? When I have a blank template and go to customize my layout, they're nowhere to be found.
Thanks!

Thanks! Hi, If you group your drums tracks you can use "Select Group" to select the drums after your Track Preset has been made. Then use the Click Output and type in the name of the bus. Then add the colors. Something like this. BUS DRUMS GROUP.ravbc (2.44 KB)
