I am DESPERATE for a BC that'll do the following, it would save me so much time at work, doesn't necessarily have to be in this order -
- Change the colour of selected tracks to a colour I've preselected - Bus them all to a new aux bus which I can name - Add 2 specific UAD plugs to slots 2 and 3, and a VMR to slot 10 to the newly created aux bus
I'm assuming the 'to new track...' option is going to be needed here at some point, ie when you shift-alt-click the output on selected tracks, and you get the option at the bottom of the menu to create a new nameable aux with the selected tracks going to it. I'm aware there's sometimes a problem with inactive busses when you do this with a mouse, but I can work around that.
Is this possible?? Thanks for your time!

So you wanna name while it is happening? Or you want the color and name already setup?

Well, while it is happening would be pretty good! As in, when the dialogue box comes up for the aux name, I type it in there... The colour could already be set up, I use the same ones each time for bussing. If that's impossible I could happily live with pre-made buttons for Drum bus, Bass bus, etc. Would that involve me telling you the exact name and colour I'd like for each? Too much work?

The way PT10 makes the new Aux Track I/O greyed out is pretty annoying. I think the easiest way to do this would be to use the "Track Hack Preset" to get the Aux track you want with the correct naming and plug-ins on it. Then use this script to Color and Bus the tracks. SELECTED TRACKS NEON BLUE BUS TO INSTRUME....ravbc (2.32 KB) Just import it into your user quicklist. This BC is made to go to a track called "instrumental" but you can swap out the name by just removing it and typing in a new name. The color can be switched out by replacing the "Click light neon" BC with the other "Select Color" BCs in the Quicklist.
