New to the forum, I apologize if there is already a thread on this. I'll word this the best I can.
I have the dual raven MTi2 setup. I was previously running an iMac (mid 2013) 3.2Ghz quad core i3 with 32gb or ram running OS Catalina. I ran both ravens and a third vocal booth monitor into an HDMI hub then into a thunderbolt to HDMI converter to my mac. All screens were at the time mirrored. I was using an older version of logic pro x (I don't remember which version exactly) and the most recently updated version of protools. Everything worked fine with the ravens (I had them both mirroring the computers native display only).
I recently purchased a 2018 mac mini 3.2Ghz 6 core i7 with 32gb of ram running OS Montery 12.6.8. Running the latest version of pro tools and Logic Pro X version 10.7.9 The new computer is having severe (intermittent) lagging issues when ran through the ravens (even with both ravens plugged directly into the computer and not using an HDMI hub). When i plug the mac mini into a different display (TV etc.) it runs fine without any issues. In display settings on my mac I have changed color profiles, resolutions, mirroring, extended displays etc. The problems continues. It doesn't seem my computer is "bogged" down at all. My activity monitor is reporting 93% of the CPU idle during the time of the problems. At times the space bar functions repeats at a rapid rate out of nowhere (Key command app says no keys are stuck signaling) Sometimes my keyboard just stops working in logic, works after restarting the computer then immediately stops working again upon opening logic then will randomly work again. I have tried multiple keyboards, I have switched out the mouth to other Bluetooth options as well as direct USB options. All issues seem completely intermittent and random.
Does anyone know of any compatibility issues between the MTi and mac or a firmware update possible for the MTi2? My 2013 ran these monitors no problem but im wondering if that was only because i was mirroring the computers native display.
Thank you
-Johnny
