Gollywilks, I followed your advice, 2 posts above and for me, it adds the plugin but then that's it. I'm left with only one track showing and the plugin I added right in front of me with the mouse moving to the middle of my screen. So CLICK LITTLE RED CLOSE WINDOW doesn't work and RESTORE PREVIOUS TRACKS doesn't work.
In the manual we should really have an explanation of the quickest commands, not the explanation of every button that was pre programmed.

This is the main reason people will be using batch command... in order to insert lots of plugins fast and it's not clear how it should be done. You guys need to explain this way better. Making a serious how to video tonight. Will answer all these question

To enter spaces you have to use 3 key entry lines eg. To get "eq3 1" you need 1."eq3" 2."space" 3."1" It appears to be the same for the "-" sign as in CLA-2A and D-verb. However this doesn't always seem to work, I created a script today to set up a basic session for songwriting, An instrument track with SSD, several mono audio tracks with compressor and eq, a couple of auxes with a reverb and a delay, and a master fader. If I used the "-" trick above in this it messed things completely up, I ended up just using the first few letters before the "-" and that seemed to work for now. I guess we're on a steep learning curve at the moment To use a "-" Just type name D Then add new key command for "-" Then new key command for Verb Or if there is a space use "spacebar" as it's own key command Followed by a new key command with the rest of the name. But u this may not work all the time. So get close with CLA" then use cursor down to get the one u want

CMND opt CNTRL W Before u hit another mouse move like "restore" (restore is PT11 only) For Pt10 u may have to use a memory location or "show all" unless u use add the next" them keep the window open:. I am working on a quicklist manual, but there are 500 in there and I make 20 more eAch day, so gonna be a while for that, but hope to have it next week

Could you make a quick list which would just ADD CUSTOM PLUGIN INSERT A, without a track identifier? I think 'track 1' messes things up for me when I try to instantiate a custom chain over many channels For now it has to be track 1. We are working on some pixel detection so that it would work on any selected track. But the problem comes when u select multiple tracks (it breaks because all the tracks are white). So for now this is the way for multiple tracks. I do have a way to add to any selected track in the edit window, but it requires keyboard maestros to run in back ground and launched from BCer. . Hope to have this for BC soon We are working hard so hope to hav

I guess the problem could be different types of tracks, mono and stereo could break it since u can set different favorites for different types of tracks

I would like to: Select a track or several tracks, click a BC button which then instantiates a predetermined custom plugin chain, including presets. One of these plugins would most likely be a Meta-plugin from DDMF hosting my Slate Digital VCC. How do I do this? Thanks, Paul I just noticed u want them all to pop Up with a preset. For this u would need to "click track preset" type the name of preset followed by enter. Then use "copy plug right" X8?? Then add next plug Crazy idea but this would be cool. The other way would be to just set the plug in to open in user default instead.

Hey Chezpaul - are you in the mix window when you are doing it? and is your tracks column on the left lined up with BD red line? It needs to be like that for the script to work.

I don't know if this helps anyone this is the BC I created (just playing) to set up a very basic session, it instantiates Waves CLA-2A on the audio tracks so will need editing if you don't have this. Also it is supposed to set up 8 audio tracks and 2 AUX, this seems to be randomly reset to 1 of each YMMV. Just start in mixer window of a blank session. Create Basic Session.ravbc (3.87 KB)

CMND click DDMF to add it to the favorites list. Then when you hit add fav plug in 1 or 2 it will pull it up depending on where it is in the plug in list.. 1. Show Select Track 2. ADD DEFAULT EQ 3 ADD DEFAULT COMP NEXT 4. ADD FAV PLUG 1 NEXT 5. ADD FAV PLUG 2 NEXT 6. CLOSE ALL WINDOW 7. RESTORE PREVIOUS TRACKS Hope this helps Peace

If u are on 10 use "show all tracks" instead of restore. Or u May need more delay time also need to Be in mix window, no narrow mix, with tracks list showing and aligned. and no floating windows open . have default eq and dyn set in system prefs and view plug in by category and manufacturer . If u still have trouble I can check it out. Just gimme a shout on skype Skype:vintagesynthaddict
