I would like to:
Select a track or several tracks, click a BC button which then instantiates a predetermined custom plugin chain, including presets.
One of these plugins would most likely be a Meta-plugin from DDMF hosting my Slate Digital VCC.
How do I do this?
Thanks,
Paul

CMND click DDMF to add it to the favorites list.
Then when you hit add fav plug in 1 or 2 it will pull it up depending on where it is in the plug in list..
1. Show Select Track 2. ADD DEFAULT EQ 3 ADD DEFAULT COMP NEXT 4. ADD FAV PLUG 1 NEXT 5. ADD FAV PLUG 2 NEXT 6. CLOSE ALL WINDOW 7. RESTORE PREVIOUS TRACKS
Hope this helps
Peace

Sorry, but what do you mean by 'Show select Track'? Is it a keyboard shortcut?

Show select tracks is a quicklist item. It will focus on the selected tracks so u can add plugs and sends. The close the windows and hit restore to bring back your session tracks

You guys have opened pandora's box - to fit my workflow I need ADD FAV PLUG # NEXT to be there at least up to number 15.... Can you do this for me please?
Thanks!

Just use "add favorite Custom" and you can add any plug you like. Just follow with manufactorer name or plug type or cursor down to select favorite.

Damn, it's making more and more sense - this is going to be great... but where do I find / create "add favorite custom" so I can edit it with cursor moves (which I have figured out;-) But obviously it would be better with effect type and effect name, because the cursor positions will change when I install new plugins. This is as far as I have gotten - I can make a custom plug appear in insert A, but it stops and won't do insert B MONO MIX PLUGS.ravbc (1.07 KB)

I'm trying to create a simple version of BC for the everyday tasks I have - here it is, as it stands at the moment. I plan to add some audio suite commands, and in another row more complex routing assignments, such as the 10 headphone command. PAUL BASIC.bclay (328.82 KB)

Looks like all you had to add was CNTRL+CMND+OPT+W to close the open plug in before running "ADD FAV INS B". Also try adding more delay time so the window closes before the next thing runs. another way is you use "fav plug in next" when you have a window open. CLICK PLUG INSERT.ravbc (276 B) ADD CUSTOM NEXT.ravbc (638 B) once you add the first plug in, the next action need to be "add custom next" or use the "click plug in insert" and "click plug in type" BC's to make your own custom one.

when I try to import the new ravbc, I get an error: 'This Raven Batch Command File is not compatible with the current batch commander version'.
What to do?

Just use "add favorite Custom" and you can add any plug you like. Just follow with manufactorer name or plug type or cursor down to select favorite. I've added ADD FAVORITE CUSTOM and it works with cursor instructions, but how do I add manufacturer name / plug in name to the command? I want to do this instead of cursor keys, because my cursor assignments will change when I install / remove plugins...

Some plugins (Maag EQ4) require you to click with the mouse, instead of hitting RETURN when choosing a plugin preset. How can I make BC do a 'mouse click' when the correct preset is selected?

Return should work with every plug in just try adding more delay. For manufacturers name just type in the plugin manufacturers name into the script followed by "cursors right" and then type the name of the plug and followed by enter. No need to use cursor up down.. youtu.be/GBveiIu_F58Check out the video

I'm on a Mac, not a Raven console - how do I edit the script?

OK I figured it out!!!!! You can just type in commands using the KEY COMMAND. So to get to my Maag EQ all I had to do was: 1 SHOW SELECTED TRACKS FADER FOCUS from quick list2 ADD CUSTOM PLUGIN INSERT A TRACK 1 from quick list3 EQ typed in keyboard shortcut4 cursor right typed in keyboard shortcut5 MAAG (or the name of your plugin) typed in keyboard shortcut
6 Return typed in keyboard shortcut6A ADD CUSTOM NEXT and repeat steps 3-6 for the plugs in your chain 7 CLICK LITTLE RED CLOSE WINDOW from quick list
8 RESTORE PREVIOUS TRACKS from quick listThat was just staring me right in the face, but I couldn't see it because I was wearing my smart arse glasses How do you type spaces in the KEY COMMAND scripts? I need to do this to differentiate between similarly named plugins such as EQ3 1 and EQ3 7.

Could you make a quick list which would just ADD CUSTOM PLUGIN INSERT A, without a track identifier? I think 'track 1' messes things up for me when I try to instantiate a custom chain over many channels

This is the main reason people will be using batch command... in order to insert lots of plugins fast and it's not clear how it should be done. You guys need to explain this way better.

To enter spaces you have to use 3 key entry lines eg. To get "eq3 1" you need 1."eq3" 2."space" 3."1" It appears to be the same for the "-" sign as in CLA-2A and D-verb. However this doesn't always seem to work, I created a script today to set up a basic session for songwriting, An instrument track with SSD, several mono audio tracks with compressor and eq, a couple of auxes with a reverb and a delay, and a master fader. If I used the "-" trick above in this it messed things completely up, I ended up just using the first few letters before the "-" and that seemed to work for now. I guess we're on a steep learning curve at the moment
