I'm running Pro Tools 12 with a MTI2. When I run the "add fav 1 plugin to insert A" it adds the plugin and opens the plugin window. From what I've read in the manual, I have to manually touch restore previous tracks. When I do that, the tracks come back up but the plugins I have on various tracks are displaying on the wrong tracks. If I bank scroll the screen it will fix itself. Is this just a bug or am I doing something wrong?

You can add "restore previous" BC after Add favorite, then use the NSC banking BC to bank back. This is a pro tools thing where depending on how many tracks are in a session can miss align after restore. Also, PT12.5 broke "restore" so they should be fixing that with 12.6 For adding plugs I prefer to just use the user click version.. youtu.be/RW_ioEFKYl8This can also add chains.
