Hello, in Logic Pro 10.6.3 and with Catalina 10.15.7 When Logic Pro closes due to an error ... when opening it again the raven system does not work correctly, although you can move the faders these do not act on logic in any way .
To solve the problem I have to restart my mac. Is there a way to fix it without having to turn off / on my mac?
Thanks

To solve the problem I have to restart my mac. Is there a way to fix it without having to turn off / on my mac? Thanks Hey.. This is an issue with Logics control surface "Ports" being used by the multiple devices. Apple is aware of the bug, but I am not sure when they plan to fix it. I helped a logic user that uses Native instruments komplete keyboard. There was conflict because of that Logic port 7000 issue. We managed to track it down to a background Native Instrument process using port 7000 as well. We managed to close the process and remove it, which resolves his issue. It goes by the name of NTKDaemon. This is what it is described as: “The NTK Daemon is responsible for synchronising Sounds.com Collections to your Komplete Kontrol and Maschine software browsers. With a Sounds.com account, you can create your own collections of Loops and One Shot samples, which you can then use in your DAW via Komplete Kontrol and Maschine software without having to manually download and move files - the NTK Daemon takes care of this for you.” The user doesn’t use Sounds.com he just wanted it removed. He’s not had any issues since removing it. I found this thread on the Native Instruments website which has some more info.

but in this case, it happens even opening an empty logic session without any plugin or any virtual instrument (no native instruments).
Is there any way to reboot raven? UPDD TUIO or UPDD Gestures ??
In this case I think that there is no process that is using port 7000
thanks!

One way communication in Logic will only be an issue with Logic so nothing to do with the UPDD touch driver or RAVEN software. Apple are aware of this issue as well, but perhaps they will only offer fixes in 10.7 which you will need Big Sur to run.. So you may be looking at an OS and DAW update to fix this Apple issue.
