I kid I kid!  Just wondering if anyone at Slate has tested the Raven with DP11? I'm away from home for a month, so I can't do it myself. |

MOTU broke something serious with the Mackie "Extender" ports. I could only ever get it to work with a single "mackie control" port, but that only allows for 8 faders. As soon as the "extender port" is added all the next 8 fader track names show up on the 1st track.. |

I am waiting until Raven works before updating so any eta on a Raven update? |

Jamey does the grouping of the dp mixer channels over Mackie Protocol work? So you can just show selected channels instead of every channel all the time... sheesh I basically have to work on the DP mixer until everything is almost done then I can put up the Raven or Floating mixer... The Raven and BC's is all I use for most things but the Raven & FM mixer not working until almost the final mix is annoying... What is up with MOTU? Were you able to dialog with them when you did the webinar? BTW can I get a link or copy of that webinar please? Pretty Please... Can't believe I missed it. rambling...

As soon as the "extender port" is added all the next 8 fader track names show up on the 1st track.. funny how this stuff goes, the Mackie protocol was updated according to their website, which of course breaks any workaround you guys had to do for their code. From their website: They call it a "plug in", but it's in the Control Surfaces setup, it might be worth attempting to use that one. |

Thanks Jamey... I usually update immediately but I'll update to 11 when Control surface is working. I don't wanna find out what else might be broke in 11. My rig with dual Ravens is working so great. Still DP sending Fader groups to the Raven would be the best. Thanks for all you do JZ

Yeah sounds like keeping DP11 on the laptop here, and not upgrading until DP11 and Big Sur, and M1 compatibility gets sorted is the best idea.
Hell by that time Raven 4.0 might actually be out!

Has anyone tried a totalRaven reinstall post DP11? Or is the brokenness part of a new way DP is accessing the Raven software??? Thanks

Thanks The problem stems from the way DP changed their Mackie Protocol so there are no workarounds. The only possible workaround is just using 8 tracks of the 24 and just enabling the 1st Mackie Controller without any "extenders" |

Running OS 10.14.6. Should I update anyway?
