Hello BC, I have batch commands for exporting files from pro tools, however, they no longer work with the most recent update. it seems to be a problem when navigating through finder folders after clicking Export location in Pro tools.
If I have an audio file that I would like to export I click "Shift Command K" then click export location. That takes me to a Finder navigation window. In previous versions of BC I could use the commands "Command + Cursor Up" to navigate to the parent folder. However, with the most recent update this key command does not work when in a Finder Navigation window. I created a simple command that only has "Command + Cursor Up" to test. That command works when in pro tools, however, when I click export and export location, that command no longer works. Any ideas as to why? It worked in previous versions.
Thanks, Ryan

Hello Jamey, Thanks for following up. Yes, I updated to PT 2021 from PT 2020. BC works in 2021, but for some reason when I click export location when exporting a file BC no longer sends keyboard message in the finder window. When I am in the finder after clicking export location in PT I would usually navigate to a folder for 16 bit masters, those would export and then I would start the 24 bit export sequence. The 24 bit masters go into a different folder I would have BC select export location again and then use "Command Up" to go to the folder above and then " 2' and "4" to navigation to the folder that is named "24 bit". For some reason since updating to PT 2021 and BC 2021 the key commands "Command up arrow" and numeric entries do not work when going through the export location.
If I do it manually by clicking export location I can use the arrow commands and numeric commands to navigate tot eh folder, but for some reason BC does not send them when in that window. Slightly odd problem, but that's the best way I could describe it. best, Ryan

I would suppose BC is still sending the key actions to the window behind it.
