Not sure if this is the correct forum, but I'm running this on Raven, so... I haven't used my own Batch commands up until now. I created 2 on a 2 button panel and got it to work. One for Window Scroll Page, one for No Window Scroll. I watched the video and after a few tries I got it to work. I placed the panel on my right BC bar, saved the Raven Session, and used it that day. When I opened Raven the next day, after a reboot. The BC bars were at my default, the state they were in before I made the Command. I opened Customize Toolbar and they weren't there either. I searched the disk for them and couldn't find them. I did find a folder in my 'username/Library/.../Pro Tools 2020/Default/ but it was empty...I also found a folder with a few Python files that were named what I had named the new Commands... 'Feb 7 Pro Tools Default' or something like that. I found another folder named something like Slate Raven Backups/Default (I think) and there was a Feb 7 Pro Tools Default in there, but there was no way to access it from the Raven menu, so I copied it to the Default folder where my default .ravlays are. I then opened it from the Raven menu and the layout was totally messed up and not only were the Toolbars some other layout, but the graphics were not working...i.e. the internal mixer was in place of the Raven mixer and it was grayed out and not responsive, so I'm assuming there was some other file it needed, perhaps the Python files, to fully initialize? Anyway, I think something is messed up in my folder structure for Raven's BC...any ideas? I'm on the latest: 3.7.8, Mac Pro 6.1 Catalina 10.15.7, and Pro Tools Ultimate 2020.11 (default colors - NOT dark mode).

Just load up your old .ravlay RAVEN session to get back to your old layout as you must have saved this session somewhere on your computer. I would guess something got corrupted so your default layout was reset.

Hi Jamey, I did get my old .ravlay back, all good there. I'm just trying to figure out how to get the Batch Commands I made back and more importantly to save them into a new .ravlay so I can incorporate them into a new default layout. It turns out those 2 little buttons saved me a lot of effort when I was editing close up.

Unless you recorded some custom clicks or something that the need to launch in the script? There are two library folders on macOS, the HD / Library and the User /Library. In order to navigate to the User/Library, hold down the Option Modifier while clicking the "Go" tab in finder. This will reveal the User Library. Once opened, scroll to Application Support/Slate backup/pro tools/batch/ and copy your Batch Commands over to Application Support/Slate Media Technolgy/Raven/Pro tools/Batch

I did record custom mouse clicks to nav to the Options->Edit Window Scrolling->Page and .../...->No Scrolling menu choices. My User lib path to the Batch commands folder you referenced are: Application Support/Slate User Backup/Raven/Batch/Dual/ProTools/PT2020/Default/ and that folder is empty, as is the Application Support/Slate Media Technology/Raven/Batch/Dual/ProTools/PT2020/Default/ folder.
However in both the Application Support/Slate Media Technology/Raven/Python/ProTools/Dual/PT2020/ and Application Support/Slate User Backup/Raven/Python/ProTools/Dual/PT2020/ I have three files: one named test.py which is probably a file I made while fooling around with the BC editor and 2 others, Edit Window No Scroll.py and Edit Window Scroll Page.py. Those are the names of the Batch Commands I made.
From what you said I am inferring that the .ravlay file holds the layout, custom or otherwise, and the Python files are the scripts that get executed when the BC buttons are pressed. So, I guess I didn't save the layout after I made the button command and put them on the toolbar. I thought I did. I'm going to try and recreate the layout and attach it to those scripts with the BC editor.

However, there are already Batch Commands to get to those options that don't require a click. Just go search the Quick List for "Scroll" and you will find them and should perhaps use those instead of the clicks.

That did it both ways. I must have saved the Batch Commands and not the ravlay. I'm glad I learned how to create my own commands though. Thanks a lot for the help!
