I was working fine with PT 2019 and Raven 3.7.2 and tried to update to PT 2020 and Raven 3.7.5 and it screwed up all of my gestures and layouts. Everything was wrong or gestures didn't work anymore, just really messed up. So I fell back to 2019 PT and tried to re-install Raven 3.7.2 but that didn't work, it still says 3.7.5 when I load Raven up. It's not saving my layouts even though I save them every time I make a change, some gestures no longer work, some gesture crash Raven, etc. etc. etc... so I believe I must have some serious corruption somewhere and probably need to go back to square one (as much as I hate to re-do my batch commands and gestures) So my question is, what is the best way to do that? Trash Raven and re-download and re-install and re-install gestures? I'm at a loss here, I would appreciate in and all help with how to do this... Thanks in advance!!

I would just back to a previous layout since gestures profiles save to the layout that would be why your gestures stopped working. re-install Raven 3.7.2 but that didn't work, it still says 3.7.5 when I load Raven up. Most apps won't let you overwrite a version number that is later, so I would manually delete the RAVEN app before installing an older version. However the only change in 3.7.5 is that is unlocked PT2020 so nothing in there would affect your layouts. |

Ok, I decided to completely uninstall Raven and VControl Pro and try another shot at PT 2020. After uninstalling (I use a utility called Clean My Mac X which has a very good uninstaller) Raven and VControl, I went ahead and updated to PT 2020, Now I'm going to re-install Raven 3.7.5 and VControl and see how it works. I saved my ravlay layouts so I should be able to open them back up again. If I still have the same problem, I will start a support ticket on it. Thanks for all your help Jamey!!
