I've found a number of issues with Pro Tools and the Raven mixer when working with sends. I'm not sure if there are from the Raven software and others are experiencing them or if it's just my system and I need to change something. Any help would be appreciated.
1. Whenever I try to scroll through the Sends mixer by swiping left or right hte tracks are not renamed properly. When I swipe left to right the left most track and keeps adding it's name to each track as I scroll (see attached screen shot). In the screen shot the left most track was named "BGV 3". When I scrolled, each track I scroll to becomes named BGV3 as well. When I scroll right to left, the track names on the screen do not change at all. They remain the same as when the screen was loaded regardless of the faders moving in the proper order. This makes it impossible to know where I am in the session when moving through the sends.
2. When riding a fader in the Sends mixer, if I attempt a fader ride and decide I am not happy with it, pressing UNDO does not reset the Send Fader to it's original value, even though Pro Tools native sends, do revert to their original value. You have to leave that bus (for example Bus A) by selecting another another bus (for example Bus C) and then return to the original bus (Bus A).
3. In Touch Mode in Pro Tools, the sends do not return to their original value when releasing the fader. This essentially means that they are in touch/latch mode and that touch mode does not function as it would with a mouse (clicking on the send and then releasing it the fader will return to it's original value).
Basically what this all means is that I still need to do rides with a mouse often,which was one of my major reasons for purchasing a Raven to begin with. Could someone please let me know if this is common behavior on all systems, or just something I am encountering? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
