There are BCs in the layouts for adding plugins, but I thought it would be helpful to show how to program it from scratch using key commands.
The is a bug in Cubase 8.5 that doesn't allow "Option Return" to open up menus anymore, so this will only work in Cubase 8 and Nuendo 7. Steinberg know about the bug in 8.5 so it should be fixed in 8.6.
