I recently updated to 3.6 and it was working fine. Now, the Mix/Edit buttons no longer are working as expected. Mix takes you to the mix layout but all the fader overlays are pulled down to the bottom. Edit brings up the mix window (not the edit window as you would expect) but with no Raven overlay. I've tried this on a few different layouts and get the same behavior.
Just manually changed to the edit window with CMD + = and the opposite occurs. So it's like the raven changes the overlay but doesn't actually change the Pro Tools windows.

Please be sure HUI is enabled for V-control in the Pro Tools MIDI Peripherals.  |

I've had this problem (HUI settings disappearing) multiple times and figured out what it causing it. Whenever I switch to a different playback engine, i.e. audio interface, the HUI settings disappear. Specifically I'm changing from HDX for mixing and then over to a Presonus Dante for some tracking. Then I have to re-enter the settings and it's all back to where it should be. Any idea why this is happening?

This is a pro tools bug that is trashing your prefs, I would upgrade your version of Pro Tools. I have seen this in old version of pro Tools where it can't close correctly because it doesn't see the audio interface. |

I'm on Ultimate 2019.5 I will upgrade to 2019.6 and see if that fixes. thanks

Working fine on the latest Pro Tools here and I have never heard this problem from other users. I would reach out to Avid as something must be crashing your system and reseting your MIDI controller prefs. |
