HDX MAC High Sierra Protools 2018/12 Raven 3.6 Dual Raven MTi2’s plus Monitor setup.
How do I get rid of the V control integration with the other apps, Safari, Finder etc
When Batch Commander is open, as soon as I touch the second monitor it brings finder to the front. when I record mouse clicks and hit record again the script box opens up on the second window. i have to touch the first raven and drag the mouse to the second Raven to select the script box, and again to confirm. also if a video is open on safari , it plays randomly whilst using the touch screens.
its all very annoying
Please help

How do I get rid of the V control integration with the other apps, Safari, Finder etc V-Control Pro only works with the Midi drivers in the DAW. neyrinck.com/v-control-pro/When Batch Commander is open, as soon as I touch the second monitor it brings finder to the front. Click the Hand Icon in the menu bar and press "Configure". This will run through a setup screen, where you will need to "TOUCH" the X on the touch screen monitors, and "CLICK" next on the screen that doesn't have touch. also if a video is open on safari , it plays randomly whilst using the touch screens. The RAVEN wouldn't affect Safari. However, if you are getting ghost touches it could be a USB power issue. Is the USB plugged directly into the computer or a hub?? If a hub try to plug direct into the computer, or if you are direct into the computer please try a different port. If that doesn't help, please try a different USB cable, as I have seen some USB cables not have enough power to power the touch screen. Maybe I am not being articulate enough. This behaviour happens only when Batch Commander is open. When it is not open the 2nd Raven works as expected. I am using It for the Mix window . It aligns properly and works fine. The safari behaviour described occurred when I was watching tutorial videos on the raven setup , launched from the Raven floating app. i placed these YouTube videos on the other Monitor (not Raven) . They would stop , start and the window would minimise from gestures on the First Raven

If so there could be a problem with the Automatic display detection maybe due to the converter/extender/Hubs being used. You could try going into manual mode or start a support ticket and we can take a look. slatemt.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022177913-Error-Too-Many-Touch-Overlays-Here is the link to start a support ticket for the Raven.. slatemt.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=61177

No , toolbars are across both displays. No extenders , hubs . The USB ports are straight out of the back of the Mac. The HDMI are DVI to HDMI cables straight out of the video card. This behaviour didn’t occur on the previous Raven software.
