Hey Guys, I have been mixing a lot of records that I didn't track lately, so I am getting all types of files. Mostly I am getting Drum Tracks and Vocal tracks as stereo files when in fact they are really mono. Is it easy to make this into just one track instead of 10?

Is it easy to make this into just one track instead of 10? Yes you can. Just delete the lines once you load it into your Batch Commander. However, if just splitting one track, its probably faster to do it by hand. |

I'm curious if you can see each step somehow in the batch command button. My split 10 tracks stopped working, in protools 2018. Now it splits the first track and then does an operation where it says it's scrolling to next track but nothing happens. |

Its possible they messed with the "scroll to track" key command. |

Hopefully an easy tweak. Looks like they changed it so it now looks for the track name as well. This may be tricky to program, give me a few days. |

Any luck or not possible? The way PT does the scroll to track now is really weird. I can't exactly figure out how to do it. It will be possible, just have to figure out the crazy new way to select tracks.. |

So obviously you either didn't get around to this or it's not possible anymore. Could you let me know which is the case? I'd like to not waste my time trying to figure it out if it's not possible. I hope that's not the case as it was one of the reasons I was excited about the batch commands.

Here they are, just import them into your User Quick List. Then move the stereo tracks to the top of the session and select them, then hit the Batch Command. So I just tried this finally but it still doesn't work. It splits the tracks to mono then deletes the mono tracks...so I'm left with the same 4 stereo tracks I started with.

Perhaps you didn't move the tracks to the top of the session?? or you don't have Keyboard focus or "Link Track and Edit Selection" enabled? |
