Hi everyone. Like a lot of people that have invested in Pro Tools over the years, I have become a little jaded with a software updates totally making my hardware investment irrelevant. I started my journey with Digidesign with Sound Tools and moved through all the permutations of hardware up untill HD ( standalone, Nubus, Sample Cell, Mix, Mixplus 888`s/adat bridges Sync ,Sync HD`s midi i/o`s 192`s 96 i/o`s, nine pin controllers....the list goes on and on and I havn`t the patience or the pockets in a dwindling industry justify such a big financial leap for so little gain . To replace my current HD rig would cost around 50 grand. I am building Monster PC`s to continue the existing life of my hardware and I am desperately hoping that you guys over here at Slate Audio will come up with a PC solution soon and by the time you do, will not have left us guys stuck on 10 behind. Believe me , I am not alone.... there are lots of us I don`t want to sound like one of those guys that say on forums Mac please or PC please...... But When for PC  ? |

Hi I just picked up my raven mti for use on post production for feature films. while we do currently have a mac in the one studio, the new studio soon to be finished is going to be running windows 8.1
what i would love to know is some kind of date as to when a windows version might be available?
weeks/months will it be out in 2014.... just some hope plz.
p.s: loving the raven as soon as the bank account looks a bit better i will definitely get another one for my home dialog editing !
thanks 2.0 looks amazing all i need now is windows support!

Yes Chakalman. Our PC Raven Build is currently under development with a planned release sometime in Q4. I cannot specify a release date for the DP8 build but I can guarantee that our team will be working on it shortly.

I'm really surprised you will release a Cubase PC version before PT 10 & 11. Is this really the smart marketing path to take? It just seems to me there would be more PT users waiting than there is Cubase users. But what do I know!

I couldnt help but notice the glaring absence of Cakewalk Sonar software. Will you guys be supporting Sonar as well some time in the future?

Trevor,
I know this is a PC thread but I'd be gutted if the PC version for Cubase was released before the Mac version... I sequence in Cubase and run picture and print into Pro Tools (both Mac) and bought my MTI thinking I'd use it for Pro Tools until the Cubase OSX release...
It's a bit misleading as at the time of purchase the MTI was a Mac only product with Cubase software version in development.
Sorry to bleat on in a whiny voice...
