I love the new commit feature in Pt12.3. But I was always able to do something similar in Pt11.. Unless you do lots of midi instruments and heavy processing you may not need PT12.3.

I keep a bus called "print" , and then any channel I want to commit I send to the print bus and then right-click the output and select bounce from the menu, and import after bounced to selection.
