After upgrading from 2.5.1 to 3.0.0 I get 2 floating tool bars. Space is very tight and now as the second is always on top I can't get rid of it. The only think I can do is put it behind the other one and line it up so it can't be seen. Any way of getting rid of this other floating toolbar?
close plugin button.? No where to be seen

Hey Gruntos,
The 2 Floating Toolbars are both independent and completely optional for use. There are two buttons on your RAVEN Toolbar. 1) Essential 2) Floating Toolbar
As explained in the Quick Start video, simply hit one or both of these to your preference.
To answer your second question, it sounds like you're unable to locate the "Close Plugin" button. We have two buttons that can perform this action. 1) Open Last Plugin/Close Plugin 2) Hide Floating Window
Both of these buttons are included in your software. I recommend hitting "Customize Toolbar" to see a full view of all of your tools.

Yes indeed Essentials does control the other floating tool bar.
BUT Hit the -RACK button to close all racks and the second pops back up again. I need an uncluttered raven desktop so all the buttons i use frequently are in the floating toolbar.
Thats the way its been since V1.
I tried to put the essentials button in the floating toolbar but it wont let me.
Can you turn this feature off?

Mat, do you have a reply to my updated question please,
Hit -rack and the essentials floating window comes back.
I can't live with that and will have to go back to 2.5.1
Deactivating a floating window should stay deactivated.

I downloaded 3.0.1 and it was still the same. Do you have an ETA of this fix or do i have to go back to 2.5.1.

Hey Gruntos,
Thanks for bringing that up. That is a feature we are looking to modify. I am guessing you only work with the floating tool bar and keep everything else closed?

I have been using it along with protools to do a radio show. Protools handles inputs from various sources Megaseg, Skype inputs from a MOTU 16A for Mikes and external feeds as well as recording the show. Its also handles returns for the monitors and headphone mixes. As there is a lot on the screen I use only the floating tool bar and floating mixer, and It works brilliantly. However since the upgrade to 3 and the dam essentials floating window Raven has become hard to use. I have to put the essentials windows exactly behind the Floating toolbar.
Also your Floating mixer has a bug with initial deployment and you can't shrink it only expand then shrink!
Both of these issues have been raised with support item 662
