For the past few months I have had an occasional problem, that is now happening much more frequently - basically all the time! I start my computer and either immediately, or within a few minutes, the mouse cursor jumps to a position at the lower left of the Raven screen. I move it somewhere else on either it or my Apple 32" monitor (located above the Raven) and in ~ 5 seconds it jumps to the lower left position where it remains until I try to move the mouse. this happens until I turn off my computer. however, if I open the Multitouch control panel and turn off the "Enable/Mouse Keyboard Emulation" this behavior ceases. to me this means that it something in the Raven hardware or software. It makes my 27" Raven touchscreen pretty worthless as there is no way to work while this is happening.
Equipment: 2013 Mac Pro "trashcan", OSX 10.9.5, original Raven, latest software

FWIW I have reinstalled the latest Raven software AND repaired my permissions repeatedly.
Sometimes if I start up PT and Raven the mouse will function properly. however as soon as I quit Raven the problem reappears.
while I COULD and do shut off multitouch when I'm not using the Raven and PT, I like having the touch screen for my other graphics and general work. I am becoming inclined to think that this is a hardware issue, but that's just a guess...

I wonder if something is stuck on the bottom of the screen?? have you tried giving the screen a cleaning? which mouse are you using??

I'm using a Kensington Expert trackball, but I have also tried a Magic Mouse and it's done the same thing. I also deleted my Kensington driver, in case that was the issue. That made no difference at all. I'll try cleaning the screen. However when I fiddle with some of teh other options it moves to the bottom right, so I don't think that is the issue!

Another fix i could think of would be to uninstall and reinstall the actual touch driver..

thnX for responding, actually I uninstalled the Raven software and reinstalled the whole thing, which included the MT driver. the MT driver is a part of the overall install.

to do a clean uninstall of the Mt driver you will have to run their uninstaller from the Mtplatform app support folder. Then reinstall Raven.. But I am not positive this will work, but could be worth a try.. Also have u tried re calibrating ?

In my experience Lighting has been a huge factor in whether or not the mouse will jump to the corner of the screen. I tested this changing different lighting in the room of use. Come to find out switching a light off made the mouse cursor jump. Try different lighting arrangements or the amount of ambient light in the room, too much or to little light could have an effect on the screens abilities to function properly. Also having many peripherals plugged in on start up in my opinion could bog the software so i restart my computer with all power on to each peripheral and allow the computer to connect accordingly.
Hopefully this helps,
