I'm trying to do some batch editing/stutter effects using custom key commands in Batch Commander. I keep encountering an issue with certain key commands I want to use not being accepted by Batch Commander. For instance, if I want to move my selection over by the selection amount (control+option+command+') when I enter that key command nothing happens. I can enter different key commands and different combinations of these same keys yield results, but when I enter this key command (and some others as well) nothing happens and essentially I'm not allowed to enter it. Has anyone encountered this before?

Here is the BC with that key command incase it could be a computer issue.. CNTRL OPT CMND QUOTE.ravbc (284 B) what "other" key commands are you seeing that don't work??? they only stuff that I have noticed is that some "Tab" modifiers won't read, as well as CMND H, but there should be an alternate "HEAL" batch command in the quicklist. For the Tab issue luckily pro tools has duplicate key commands for most of these.. i.E "CNTRL SHIFT TAB" can be exchanged with "CNTRL CMND L"

Thanks Jameyz, you nailed it. CNTRL SHIFT TAB was the other key command I was trying. I'll check this out and see if it is an issue with my keyboard.

Should work fine. Perhaps if it is mixed with tab it won't work. What key command specifically?

Should work fine. Perhaps if it is mixed with tab it won't work. What key command specifically? anything consisting of command just won't react. it won't even show up when i enter it... I'm trying to assign (command + `) to toggle my windows specifically for group toggling. Upon further research though, I'm seeing that a lot of different commands don't work unless one specific screen is selected, so this (command + `) toggle will be very helpful! I'm also trying to figure out how to select "read all" after i use the "touch all" preset. I was hoping to be able to hit touch all again, to put them all in read. Just some basic workaround stuff that will keep my hands off the keyboard and on solely my mouse and faders =)

Ok, that is really weird. I have never seen this is issue of not being able to enter Modifier keys. What kind of keyboard are you using?? Send me an email and maybe we can setup a time to take a look.
