Hi! I'm trying to find "Command-option-shift-click input 10ins 5sends" to route multi-output instruments. I haven't found working command; the ones on the list are not cascade even though they should be. The other command I'm looking for is "option-shift-click output" that I need for routing all channels to same output. I found several bc's for outputs, all cascade even though they should not be. Help? Then I'd like to have a click in track name comment field... My screen res is 1920x1080 Could you also try to add to commands some info that tells details about it, like what should be open or selected etc (like plugin window open). thanks.

Use "SHIFT OPT CLICK 15ins" for 10ins and 5 sends.
For having instant naming and track I/O routing I find it much easier and faster to use "Track Preset Hack" batch commands. I have a couple panels in my floating window that will always open up my API Drum track, or Neve Vocal tracks, then I can just drag the relative audio onto these tracks.

Thanks, jameyz, but that is not what I need. "SHIFT OPT CLICK 15ins" for 10ins and 5 sends sets all inputs the same and I need them sequential - or cascade as you call them. The wanted command is manually "command-option-shift-click input": try it so you see what I mean.
I have used track preset hack since forever but it's not good when I get an enormous pile of weirdly named unorganized tracks for mixing and mastering and I have to rename, rearrange and reroute everything before I can do what they pay me for. I usually start with removing unused tracks, auxes etc. Then I arrange tracks by type, select all drums and create a new AUX track for them so all drums go to bus “Drums”, then I set all vocals to go to bus VOX and so on.
If I use BC command “SHIFT OPT CLICK OUTPUT 15ins” the outputs go cascading, not into same output as they should with that key command. Actually, setting cascading outputs should be “command-option-shift-click output “. At least the names of BCs should be corrected. BC “BUS SELECTED TRACKS TO NEW AUX TRACK (10inserts, 5 sends)” does what I want it to do but I’d like the possibility to name the new aux: could you add the naming to that command?
Thanks again.

Thanks again, now we are almost there. Output routings are ok now.
Cascade inputs 15ins dont work; it selects "no input". Can you please strip it a bit, remove everything after the click input, so I can then add commands that are suitable for my needs at the time.
Big thanks!

Just noticed: cascade outputs 15 ins works ok but it can' be saved on any button. When i set it to button, it works but even if I save bc setup, the button is empty next time I load it. When I noticed this I added some commands before and after it and all those remain but the cascade outputs command vanishes. Weird. Any explanation for that?

No problem with that anymore; already sorted it out.
More important is this:
Cascade inputs 15ins dont work; it selects "no input". Can you please strip it a bit, remove everything after the "click input" , so I can then add commands that are suitable for my needs at the time.
Big thanks!

When I noticed this I added some commands before and after it and all those remain but the cascade outputs command vanishes. Weird. Any explanation for that? And then back to this weird issue. Steps to reproduce: Create a command that includes also pre-programmed click-type scripts Save BC session and reload it; everything is ok. You decide to use that previously created command as a part of new bc, so you save it to user commands. Create a command and use that in previous step created command in the new command. Everything is still ok. Save BC session. Reload this last saved BC Session. And, oops, something is missing! There are several commands that behave badly and all that I have found are different clicks. Haven't tested all though. In these pictures is a command before and after this above described procedure so you can see how this issue occurs. Here is also the BC.

Very good find.. I think this is a bug I had seen when duplicating QL scripts inside the action lines and was not being saved in the BClay correctly. This has been fixed by the programmers and will be in 3.0. Pretty sure it has to do with saving the User QL items onto the BClay.. if you save from the unpacked BC is should work better.. To "unlock" or "unpack" a BC load it into your user Ql from this folder..These are for PT10 Music.zip (250.84 KB) Post.zip (298.51 KB) General.zip (524.77 KB)

I need a command to select the output when you have 10ins and 10 sends.
