Working on getting the Create Headphone send BC to work... and running into a couple issues.
Once it goes through it's script, I'd like it to restore the previous tracks PLUS the new headphone AUX it just created. Not sure how to accomplish that. If I use Show All Tracks, that brings up everything that's Inactive too. But, then if I use Hide Inactive, the Master Fader goes away. I guess the easy fix would be to make Hide Inactive not think Master Faders are inactive.
Second, for that Headphone Send to function correctly in a session, all those track Sends need to be set to Pre Fader... the whole point to to send the talent a mix that's different than what I'm hearing in the control room. There's no Click for that button on the Send window that I can find. I think you can set a PT Pref for those to always come up Pre Fader, but except for this function i rarely want sends Pre Fader. Either way, a QL to set Pre Fader off or on would be lovely.
Third, I can't find a way to clear Send A on a selected track without the mouse. Even better would be Clear Send A (B-E individually too) on all selected tracks.
Other suggestions:
Be able to separate the transport buttons (or add FF and RW QLs). For mixing I don't need a Record button, but I don't like how much vertical real estate the full transport eats up in a Rack.
Button palettes that lets you choose and assign BCs to buttons like the Save Pro Tools or Show Comments, or the smaller size like the Layout buttons. And also be able to move them around outside BC Panels.
Be able to reorder the tracks in the Mix window. Maybe by grabbing the little Raven icon near the bottom of the fader?
Overall, loving my MTi.
