I’ve just downloaded and installed the 2.5 update and created a new layout. The problem I am having is that I can’t re load the new layout. Whenever I open the Raven software it defaults to the factory default, and loading my new saved layout re loads the factory default. I have tried 3 times and still no luck…..any ideas?
Running ProTools HDX 11.3.1, Yosemite 10.10.3, MacPro 12 core 32 gig ram.<script type="text/javascript" src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/970f0d4f/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js"></script>

Go to your option click the go menu in finder and select library. Go to
user/library/appsupport/slatemedia/layouts and delete your default layouts folder..

I've also had this problem since 2.0. I've deleted the default folder in the application support library as well. I've kind of accepted it as a way of life that I have to load my profile every time I start up the Raven software.

Try manually dragging your default ravlay into this folder /Users/supaman/Library/Application Support/Slate Media Technology/Raven MTi/Raven_Layouts/ProTools/Single/PT11/Default My default is working without having to do this, but maybe it can fix for you..

Raven 2.5 ; Bug ....., Red Clip light indicator in the MIX widow - Still unable to be reset ?
Hi guys, thanks for the update, I've only just used it briefly for the first time today.
..., but I did notice in the new version 2.5 ...., that a bug is still persisting through from the old 2.1 version ....,
ie; It is impossible to reset the red clip indicator light (as seen above the faders / meters) from within the MIX window when Raven 2.5 is instantiated on a Pro Tools project.
Note; When using Raven , the only way it is possible to reset this clip light (ie; by mouse clicking on it) > is to return back to the EDIT widow and reset it from there .

i had this problem and just fixed it. your layout file needs to go in application support/slate media technology/raven mti/raven_layouts
then rather than hitting the pro tools folder hit the Single folder, then pro tools and so on. so the full path would be...
application support/slate media technology/raven mti/raven_layouts/single/pro tools/pt12/default/yourfile.ravlay
i was so happy when i got it to work!

Hi all, I'm having an issue with the Raven's tool bars not responding to touch commands. I can select an audio region with touch, swipe with touch, but none of the buttons on the tools bars will respond to touch ( play, stop, etc) I'm using PT 11.3.2 Mac OS 10.10.3, V control 2.1.0.44 and Raven MTI 3.2.0. it's probably something really stupid, so I thank you in advance for any help. Kenneth Are you on MTi1 or MTI2??? If MTi2 be sure UPDD TUIO is open.
Be sure you have installed the correct touch driver for your type of Raven.
Raven MTi1 uses Multi Touch Platform and Raven MTi2 uses UPDD.

Hi, sorry, I am on MTI2, and yes, it was open. I'll try to shut it down again, to be sure that wasn't it. So, for my reference, when I am opening Pro Tools with the Mti2, I should, in this order: With V-control already open and running in the background, as well as the Uppn running in the background... 1. Open Protools 2. Once the quick start menu is open: Open the Raven software. Does that sound correct? thanks, Kenneth

UPDD TUIO and UPDD Gestures should launch at startup, but it is possible they can crash, or the prefs for them to open at startup could have not been configured. I keep them shown in my menu bar, so I can always be sure they are open. 2. Open V-control Pro 3. Open Pro Tools and the Session. 4. Open Raven.
