Should be out in a week or two..
This is gonna be so so so so friggin useful when I freelance at other studio's.
Throw my iPad on the Neve and then start punching in takes and instantly recalling session markers.
Even for analog mixing (which I still do sometimes) I can see it being a great alternative as a transport. A Batch Command for looping a section is so easy to program.
Trying to do this sequence for "Loop Marker 3-4" on a keyboard will make your hand numb. Not to mention impossible if you don't have a Numpad.
1. Dot
2. Numpad3
3. Dot
4. SHIFT+DOT
5. SHIFT+Numpad4
6. SHIFT+DOT
7. PLAY
But now its just a button on my iPhone..
I am so proud to be working with Slate Media Technology and to be able to make this happen for Engineers who have better things to concentrate on then "Throwing Gang Signs at the Keyboard" as my my man Johnny Barber would say..

Hey Kevin,
We hoping to be in beta in a week or so. Once we enter beta we can post a date. Updates we make internally go through approval processes with Apple, it can be a slower process due to the approval wait times.
