I know there is an icons update coming soon ( cant wait) ....., but ...,
Today I placed a few factory icons on some tracks and straight away I noticed some unusual behaviour ? ..., I would like to know if these are bugs in the raven ?
- 1st weirdness was ......, I could not restore the Red clip light on my master fader meter (in the mix window) ..., usually this is restored by mouse clicking on it , but after I added the icons , This wouldnt work .
.........., what eventually worked was if I pressed the "hide Raven Button" ..., I could click on the red clip LED once Raven was hidden , Or another way was if I went back to the Edit window and clicked on the red clip light there . ( This has happened a few times this afternoon )
Either way , I was not able to restore the Red Peak / Clip LED while I was on the pro Tools mix page with the Raven showing
- 2nd weirdness was ....., While leaving my proTools project open - I hid the Raven ....., and clicked on google chrome in my dock so I could quickly use the internet (something I have done problem free many times over)
.........., and when I restored protools to continue with my project - I clicked the show Raven button (in bottom left hand corner ) and it wouldnt work
- I recallibrated just to make sure that wasnt causing it and that didnt fix it . The only way I could use the raven was to right click the bird in the top taskbar and select " force quit " .
Next ; I reopened the Raven , and of course I lost the icons that I allocated to the tracks , and I also went on the net again (as described earlier) and then back to pro tools and the Show (raven) button worked fine ...................,
...., but sure enough ........,
- as soon as I added the icons again , and then left my protools session to surf the net for a bit , as soon as I tried to get back to my session the Raven would not reappear when pressing the "show button"
Im guessing this must be a bug associated to the "icons" ..., are these two issues I had known about at all ? ....., or perhaps there might be a fix for these in the upcoming update ?
