Is there a suggestion Box? If so please move this there. After working with the BC for several months, here is what we've discovered. - Working on 2 monitors is clumsy - We prefer to work on one monitor and as such we have the PT Edit window on the top half and the FLOATING MIXER on the bottom half. - On the 2nd monitor we have the PT mixer window, It's there mostly for overall viewing purposes. What would be good for us: -Redesign or be able to delete the BC 'Racks' (without that huge floating window appearing) it's currently a screen real estate hog- All the buttons could easily be the size of the nudge buttons and run along the bottom of the screen (or better- user placeable) - make the PT mixer overlay adjustable so that when resizing the PT window the overlay follows. This way we can resize the window to just view the faders at the bottom of the screen (and they really don't need to be much bigger than the actual PT faders. - Ideally- the way it should really be is a separate window all together completely like the PT window that can be resized and dragged. - If that can't be done, is there a way to disable the overlay from appearing on the Raven monitor should we happen to click on the PT mixer on the 2nd (non touch screen)monitor ? - Alternatively we do like using the floating mixer which we can drag down to cover the 'Rack', but can the metering be a little more like the PT meters? (View Screen Shot Link below) www.dropbox.com/s/hh86e4t07y4k1sw/Screen%20Shot%202018-09-02%20at%203.42.10%20PM.png?dl=0I hope some of that made sense - Thank you for your time Attachments:

You can use the Mixer Lock feature. This way you can decide when to show or hide the Mixer. slatemt.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115006035288-Raven-3-3-Mixer-Lock-Feature-for-Pro-ToolsThe metering is as good as it can get with HUI and this is how the meter will look on any hardware control surface that uses HUI, this is why we did the RAVEN Internal Mixer where you can view the meters directly. If PT would unlock EUCON for 3rd part devs we could get the RAVEN Floating Mixer and RAVEN External Mixer metering ballistics to be a lot faster and detailed

I love working on Dual RAVEN monitors. It much more fun than having to toggle back and forth between the edit and mix window.
Perhaps you should uncheck "EDIT WINDOW FOLLOW BANK" in the mixing prefs as this allows the edit window to show different tracks then are shown on the mixer.

Hi, Thanks Jamey,
LOCK MIXER This seems to work great, although it appears to work opposite to the way it's described in your link. Apparently it does work with whatever Mix/Edit mode you happen to be in when you click LOCK. So that's great - we never want to see that PT overlay when we click on the PT mixer and that solves that. thanks
METERING Too bad. Its kind of a minor thing, But perhaps bars instead of dots for the metering? Would love to use the overlay (internal mixer?) but not until the technology allows it to resize and move with the PT mixer window. I'm sure it's on your 'To Do' list
DUAL MONITORS As you saw from my screen shot, we don't need to toggle between edit/mix because the RAVEN mixer is right there at the bottom of the EDIT window in place of the tool bar.( And we still have plenty of room for all the PT key command buttons) We also love that a 2 finger swipe can bank to the next 24 tracks.
**We would request that the 1 finger drag on the mixer would scroll the mixer faster to keep pace with the speed of the finger drag**
What would be truly cool is to have a row of SMALL programmable buttons built into the floating mixer window in place of the tool bar. (which seems overly bulky) Our 2nd monitor has the PT mixer as an overall view of the session- Tracks can be put into narrow view to see the entire session at a glance. But detailed editing and mixing can be done simultaneously on one monitor with the floating mixer at the bottom. As was demonstrated in your 'One Hand' video , that kind of 'Tennis Match' style of working for some reason is just not Sunlending Friendly. Probably some kind of early childhood trauma.

yeah, I would love to have some cool stuff to the RAVEN Floating Mixer so that users could hide all the toolbars and work right with the Floating mixer. A transport/Markers/Batch Commands and faders in one small mixer would be really cool and save screen real estate.

Now if the FM would go on a diet.

It would be tricky to get the calibration to adjust, but I think it would be possible.

Having an option for template overlay or sizeable floating mixer would solve some issues on various DAW differences. So.... Please Santa, Please!

Yeah, resizable RAVEN Floating Mixer would be awesome. it would take some new graphical designs that can "Stretch" but it is possible. We will add it to the list.

I like so much this Idea with the mix window as a "monitoring" window and the Raven Mixer as the "main" and now I'm going to test it for a while. But unfortunately I feel the lack of some basic function that (to me) should have been implemented a long time ago.
- The color of the Raven Mixer Fader should be the same as the mix window. - The send button for the "send mixer" to create a new send (like the insert button we already have on the raven mixer) - there isn't any monitoring for the "send mixer" faders - Why can't I see the F-J inserts with tre insert button? - the Insert button is quite buggy in my setup...sometimes it gets the actual insert list, but sometimes it doesn't - Why all that unused space at the top of both the raven mixer and sends window? - The "raven mixer" volume field can't be switched to peak-volume-delay...this is a minor one but could be useful. - The input monitor button is missing. - The icon field sometimes acts like he's guessing the instrument I've on that track...maybe he gets the track name. If so, please let us fill every track with the icon we need.

just a simple wish here: when you press the shuffle spot grid and slip buttons they flash bright. I think it should be easy programming to have them lit when theyre on like in pro tools itself. so just a quick glance to see witch one is on and then just push the one you want if its not lit. I think this would speed up my workflow.
