Hello, How is the way or what is the batch command to capture the position of an open window (XY) for Recording?
for example to click on a button of an open plugin? regardless where is the position of the plugin.
I want to record the position(X,Y) and actions relative to the open plug in/active window, so I can record actions and create my own batch commands
Now is capturing the position relative to the computer display or the whole Pro tools window..
thanks

The Click Batch Commands in the Quick List don't care about X/Y, so I would use those. If you do want to use your own clicks, use Windows Configurations to bring the window to the correct spot. Or use the Align Front Window Batch Commands before the click to get it to the correct spot.

Hi Jamey, What I mean is that when I tried some of the batch commands in the Quicklist.... where they for example go to a plugin to click a parameter like with Vocalign Pro ...do not matter where the plugin window is...it always the mouse cursor goes to the same parameter of that plugin (So Imagine I want to do the same with other plugin that is not in the Quicklist...as Vocalign Click Capture is in the Quicklist).... so I magine I want to create Click "X" in plugin ABC? so I wonder what is the initial key command or the batch command that allows you to read the position of that plugin regardless where it is on the screen so I can record then where to click
The Example of Revoice show that the Plugin ALWAYS have to open in the same spot so when u record an action click always in the same spot. That principle is clear
Now when u go to the AudioSuite Renders and you use the 'Telephone Effect" or "VariFI Slow Down" does not matter where the plugin window is...always does the actions correctly...
I realized that with Avid Plugins you go first with "Click Plugin" and then move between parameters with the tab... Just wonder how "Click Plugin" command always catches or grab the plugin regardless where it is.... is only exclusive to Avid Plugins??
in the other hand if I open only "Vocalign Click Dub" command from the Quicklist .... it always click IN THE SAME SPOT relative top ANY open Plugin/"Active Window" regardless where it is in the screen
So how you did that? Pleaseee I want the command that do that to use it with any plugin
Check this out...very cool..but no idea how to do it..I just know it is possible for a program to take the XY location referencing the Open Window or the whole screen....
this is why I am asking and also realized like I described with the command "Vocalign Click Dub" or "Vocalign Click Process" ...always click on the same spot relative top ANY open Plugin/"Active Window" regardless where it is in the screen ...try it with any plug in
thank u

Which plugin parameter are you wanting to access???
I can probably add some apple script clicks for these into the quick list.

I understand better now, I think for audiosuite is good to position on the upper left corner. I was expecting also a way to have a plugin open and Raven to be able to catch that open window and read an XY position for that plugin window or GUI
