Hey there,

I'm experiencing a couple of odd bugs when using the Raven mixer within Pro Tools.

I have tried reinstalling the Raven software, quitting V-Control and the DAW and resetting everything up again and it still won't go away.

The first one is simply that when trying to access plugins via the Insert button, it simply doesn't work. In most cases it will work the first time, but then completely stop working after that.

The second weird bug is, sometimes when pressing any button on the mixer, ie: the insert button, solo, mute or even the track itself when selecting it, a "insert new mono track" will pop up out of nowhere.

I have posted videos of the issues below.

So far I have yet to experience a bug free Raven experience.

Any suggestions? Software updates?

Re-installing will not help anything. It may actually hurt as it will make you have to restart V-Control Pro and reset your gestures and touch driver configuration.

It looks like that plugin has a weird naming scheme, mVtsta so maybe that name is breaking in HUI. However we know of a few issues with this plugin window and hope to fix in the future.

Looks like you are creating the mono track because of the UPDD gestures "1 finger swipe from right" is set to create a new track. Just turn off that gestures to stop the window from popping up when you are working from the far left track like that.

Would restarting afterwards simply solve this? Because I usually restart any time I install or reinstall.

I'm a bit confused by what you mean by weird naming scheme. It says mVmeter and not mVtsta. Unless I'm missing something. Regardless, I see nothing unusual about the naming scheme when compared to quite a lot of other plugins. I did however take it off as an insert and the problem unfortunately still remained. It seemed to be working for about a minute but then stopped. I noticed it stopped after I used the 5 finger swipe to bring up the plugin again, but I'm not 100% sure if that's connected.
