I have 2 PT rigs hooked together. 1 is a PT10 HD7 PC on Win 7 The other is a MAC HDX 5.1 2012 running 12.8.2 I have 2 Raven MTi2`s. Both have great Graphics cards , each with 4 ports and 4 gig of Ram on board of them I am nearing the studio builds finish and I want to start setting things up in preparation for fitting them in . My desire is to have 3 switchable Senarios A ) Have the Mac running both Ravens B ) Have the PC running both Ravens C) Have the Mac running 1 Raven and the PC running the other.
Having owned a HUI and a Command 8 I know the fragility of PT (Especially PTHD10 on Win) and realise that I would probably have to restart the machines each time I was to start a "senario"
It would be more sophisticated if I could Dual KVM them but I am envisioning a world of connectivity pain.
Has anybody else done and achieved this?

I would use 2 different HDMI KVM switchers for the HMDI. Then you would have to manually plug in the USBs I think, as the touch panel is powered from USB. Also, iLok hates KVM switchers, so I usually have to swap those also.

whenever I used the USB switcher on these I had to manually plug the usb back in so the computer would setup the peripherals and drivers for it again. So I think they work great for HDMI switching, but anything with the Touch USB or Ilok USB they didn't work great.
