when i load the default session my "session setup" block [2 rows of 3 buttons] creates the track/tracks in question..if i go to the default selection screen select [in my custom preset session] 'Session setup" and make that the panel "session setup" it changes the names of some buttons as well as doesn't have "return" in the command lines so the create track window comes up but it doesn't create track and i can't find a default for that 'Session Setup" panel that mimics it also i was creating stuff myself and for some reason whether i type return as a key command or i record me hitting the return button and i insert it into my command list then try the function it doesn't work.prob my error but what should i be doing to just add return to a set list when you delete a user command it does it for all slate session custom presets across the line correct thanks i have some nice stuff put together but my final tweaks are a little squirrelly MORE bizzare is that i took the raven default session's "session setup" panel ..saved it as "session setup a" went to my custom preset session..went to user preset window and made a panel and the names come up the same but the functions not ie master creates an aux etc etx..and it did the correct thing in the slate default ?

Hi,
The Recordings will work better if you break up them up into separate recordings so "Delay" can be added in between the steps. Also, it's better to use the BC editor to enter anything that uses a "key command", as the recording is for Mouse clicks and can't handle some complex key commands as well as the BC editor. This is probably why the "enter" you record doesn't work. I would just program that in the Batch Commander.
As for the Ravpans, when you load the ravpan back in, it seems it looses some of the repeats and delay times. This is why its making a different track. Check out how many repeats come in after you load it and see if they hold up.

what is the issue with pasting over a panel with session setup BC though...without any editing on my part ..it messes up master fader and turns that into an aux upon command as well as midi and instrument track creates they all turn into aux even though the button nomenclature is the same

WELL now i'm just entering bc sections manually modifying to correct key stages...[all good doing it manually] .i had a number of crashes while doing it ..so i have been saving after each button modify ..next time i get a crash i'll take a screen shot and send it off to tech support
just a dumb question..rather than using location as a function indicator on the touch screen why couldn't you use a search pdf picture so no matter where the screen location is the cursor hunts the selected

Are you using touch or mouse when it crashes, are you on Raven or Batch Commander? I know a few items on the Raven Batch Commander are touch only, so perhaps if you are try to hit these items with a mouse that is causing the crash. The Crash log isn't helpful at all, it only shows your system specs, what we need is a way to replicate everytime that will cause the crash, then I will forward to the programmers to get it fixed. We have pixel detection on Windows right now so users could just import a picture of the item they want to click. On mac its a little harder, but it will be possible in the future. Here is the link to start a support ticket for the Raven.. slatemt.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=61177
