Hi All, I have saved my custom Batch Commands to the user section of the quicklist and saved the Raven session and set it as default as default but when opening Mti software the commands don't work. I had spent some time creating the commands before and came across this problem so deleted them all and started fresh. After saving them all they worked fine but after shutting down and starting a new session the next day they are all messed up again. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.

Are you on raven or Batch Commander?? Did you use the custom recording feature? If Batch Commander, this maybe a bug with saving the user click recordings. please email me and I will get you a fixed for this. jamey@stevenslate.com

And recorded new commands using the Key Command button. Once you finish the recording, open the user quicklist and add the recording in to Batch Command Script. The "Recording" function is based on X/Y axis so any windows that move around will be tough to program. Try using one of the "Align" batch command to snap the window into place before the Click happens. The Recordings also will work better if you break up them up into separate recordings so "Delay" can be added in between the steps.

Hi Jamey, Not sure exactly what you mean by windows that move around? One of the things I am trying to do is, set a command to, Add 9 tracks on input 5 to the session. I press record, click on new tracks, change input to 5,hit the 9 key to change from 1 to 9 on number of tracks, click create. It then adds the tracks to my session I click on record, it asks me to "save as", I name and click save, I go to Quicklist highlight the name I saved as and click select. I then name the button and choose colour and click Confirm. This then works, sometimes, sometimes it just freezes on the new tracks dropdown menu waiting for me to change the number of tracks and click create? Also, if I then shutdown the computer, when I restart it the button doesn't work at all and all manner of weird things happen like, the logic page size keeps changing from full to small and back, it will open spot erase, or go into cycle mode?? I also created a command to name all the 9 tracks using the key command procedure, this worked fine until computer shutdown and restart, then it just did either nothing or weird stuff as above.

Also, it's better to use the BC editor to enter anything that uses a "key command", as the recording is for Mouse clicks and can't handle some complex key commands as well as the BC editor. Be sure to save the layout and raven session before closing. here is how I would do, it seems to work great.

These Batch Commands are a great Idea. I will add some clicks for these into the default quicklist in the next update.

Sorry for being dumb but what does the "only recording click" in your image mean. Also while trying this out I inserted 9 tracks,Logic then proceeded to play on it's own and the bottom track highlighted itself ready to name. Next, holding on a button to bring up the editor had no effect it just repeated what I'd programmed. Having managed to record some custom commands I saved the Raven Session then continued to add some more custom commands, then when I clicked on an earlier one it didn't work, then it solo'd the track then it didn't work. It would seem all manner of weird stuff is happening. Is there a way I can reinstall the and start from scratch.

Sorry for being dumb but what does the "only recording click" in your image mean. By "only Recording" means I only used the Recording feature to make a "Click" that selects the input. The rest I programmed with the Batch Commander editor, this way I am able to adjust delay times and tweak the script easier so i can use it again for a slightly different Macro. Also while trying this out I inserted 9 tracks,Logic then proceeded to play on it's own and the bottom track highlighted itself ready to name. probably not enough delay time. Did you try what I said and program every step by itself?? This way you can figure out where the programming when wrong. Next, holding on a button to bring up the editor had no effect it just repeated what I'd programmed. What do you mean? When you tried to Stop the BC? Having managed to record some custom commands I saved the Raven Session then continued to add some more custom commands, then when I clicked on an earlier one it didn't work, then it solo'd the track then it didn't work. It would seem all manner of weird stuff is happening. Is there a way I can reinstall the and start from scratch. No need to re-install anything. It just a matter of programming the Batch Command correctly, I assume you don't have enough delay.
