I'm trying to utilize the IN/OUT buttons in the group of 4 that includes Punch and Loop. Those two work, in that when pushed, enable the Punch button and loop buttons respectively on the Transport window. Maybe I'm assuming the IN/OUT buttons are for the wrong thing, but I couldn't find a description of their function in the manual, or on the site, or the web. I am assuming that since the Punch and Loop buttons function with the respective buttons on the transport, the IN/OUT buttons would do something with the Play Start Selection and Play Stop Selection fields in the transport area. Pre Roll enables the Pre Roll and Post Roll enables the post roll functions. I am assuming the IN/OUT buttons would select the Play Start Selection field so I could enter a number there, The same with the out. If that's not the case, what do they do? Lastly, I am assuming, probably incorrectly, that the audition button will let me audition a highlighted clip in the clip list. If not, what is it supposed to do? If the above assumptions are incorrect, is there a way to re-purpose those buttons to have them do what I want. A batch command template would require giving up some essential real estate on my primary toolbar, so I'd hope I could make this happen with my current layout.

The "In" button will set the cursor to the current timeline.
The "Out" button will highlight the timeline from the cursor location to the current playhead location.

I will have to make a Batch Command with the mouse then to highlight the Play Selection Start and Play Selection End. Also, I figured out that the Audition button 'Auditions' those points.

I'm still quite a newb at this. Raven does so much, so much better I find myself trying to do everything through the Raven...
