Having problems with ProTools 12.6.0.585 (NON HD) and MTi2 running on Windows 10. The SESSION SETUP group does not function correctly. The MTi2 is set up with factory default, layout 1. At first, all six of the icons cause the transport to activate just like the play button does. I checked the command structure of the NEW AUDIO TRACK-MONO button and the command structure seemed correct. I re-entered the command sequence and now when pressing it, it no longer starts the transport but does NOT bring up the new track window.
Also using the keyboard with Raven unhidden only partially works. If I hide Raven, then keyboard commands seem to work as they should. I am only concentrating on getting the NEW AUDIO TRACK-MONO button to work.........trying to solve one problem at a time.
I used to use AutoCAD with a SummaSketch stylus pad, so I know what macro writing is all about ( which seems like what's going on here).
I have uninstalled Raven twice and cleaned the registry even, reinstalled to no avail. In the documentation there is a reference to Raven being configured to ProTools HD by default. I do not believe that the command structure is different for common commands between the ProTools and ProTools HD at this level. Is there a way to set up Raven to work in proTools LE mode or is there even such a thing?
Using Raven that's working correctly is very critical to me as I am just getting started with protools and by learning the Raven I thought I could speed up the learning curve on Protools. The logical layout and functionality of Raven seems perfect for what I'm trying to do here and I would love to get this working right.
Have I provided enough info to make this problem clear?
New to pro tools but have been dealing with computers and recording for 30 years +. Thanks for any help on this matter.
