Sorry if this is covered elsewhere, i searched the best I could without finding an answer. Is it possible to re-order Pro Tools tracks from the mix window, without hiding the Raven mixer? Also, can I easily rename from the mix window without showing comments or hiding the Raven mixer? Thanks, jake

Its too bad Pro Tools doesn't have a Rename key command like Cubase or Ableton.

Yeah I didn't think so, I was trying to make a batch command where I switch to edit window and double click on the first track name (obviously depends on consistent edit window layout) but couldn't make that work. My goal is to make a panel with 8 buttons that creates a new audio track with a pre-fade, FMP send on send A, each different button assigns the send to a separate output that goes to my 8 channel hear back system, and snaps the send level to 0, followed by track naming (if possible), then color selection. So far I have everything working except the track naming (seems unlikely to happen) and snapping all of the sends on the new channels I create to 0. I can get the first send to 0, but not the remaining. There is a Slate command for SHIFT OPT CNTRL CLICK OPEN AUX, but that command also (seemingly accidentally) includes CMD in the line, which means it doesn't have any affect on the open send. Thoughts? And thanks for your replies

Then you can recall tracks with buses and sends and names.. slate.boards.net/thread/21/jamey-batch-command-custom-presetslate.boards.net/thread/142/ssd-4-batch-commandslate.boards.net/thread/776/create-ssd-routing

uh yeah, that's awesome. Oh so many uses for this. I'd love to get the unpacked factory commands if possible. Thanks a Lot!

Has there been any update to rename a track in the mixer window with a raven?

Has there been any update to rename a track in the mixer window with a raven? Just hit the "show comments" button and you can see the whole track name. This is not something RAVEN can access, this is how PT sends Track Names through HUI.
