Hi, Just installed my second Raven and noticed that customize toolbar button doesn't allow to add or remove buttons from "essential" floating window. everytime I hit the "customize toolbar" button, the essential window disappears.
I had my previous custom layout with some buttons in the "essential" and now I want to modify it because I have the DUAL mode...but I can't. I don't want to create a new custom layout from scratch...just modify the one I was using in single mode.
Is there a way to move groups or buttons from a toolbar on my 1st raven to a toolbar on the 2nd one without "bridging" with the floating window?
Regards, Francesco

Regards, Francesco To move stuff between toolbars, you will need to add the item to one of the floating toolbars to move it to the other screen. This is not how it should be, perhaps you will need to trash the layout prefs.. In order to navigate to the User/Libary, hold down the Option Modifier while clicking the "Go" tab in finder. This will reveal the User Library. Once opened, scroll to Application Support/Slate Media Technolgy/Raven/layouts and delete this folder. Then Restart the Raven. Also, Press the "Settings" button on the bottom right of the Raven toolbar. Then press "restore factory default". Each time Raven is updated users should Save their default Ravlay then "Restore Factory Default" and reset the user default.

Find out the cause and the solution. It happens when you use the raven on the right as the main monitor via OS screen setup. As you split and set as main monitor the one on the left, it works fine (altought I've a minor issue moving BCs within the R raven, they disappear under my finger and then appear again in the place I've moved when I lift the finger instead of being dragged like they do on the L raven).
The point is that I'd like to use the R monitor as main because being right-handed, it's easier to me to access the DAW (but every software as well) tabs with the right hand in front of me...than going far to the upperleft corner as I've to do with the main monitor set to the left. Same thing with the dockbar set on the left.

Ok, that makes sense, the Raven racks spill out Left to right so this is probably why. I am not sure about the icons disappearing but maybe a restart with the new screen layout will fix. If you check "Displays Have Separate Space" in mission control you will get the Top Menu bars on both screens. Also, you can setup a gesture to open the Dock and Mission control. So I just 1 finger swipe from any corner and can get my dock.

Wow, the mission control tip is great. I already use that gesture but with two fingers swiping...because 1 finger ends to affect daw commands
