Hi Guys ,
I have just downloaded the 'NEW version' of Pro Tools (ie; Version 12.6.0) from my AVID Account ...,
But I have not installed this new Pro Tools 12.6.0 Version just yet , ..., because I first need to check with you guys at SLATE - to make sure Pro Tools 12.6 is good to go with the RAVEN without issues ?
Currently I am running ...,
- Raven MTi 1 (1st edition) with version 3.2.0 software - Mac Pro Trashcan (late 2013) , - OSX 10.10.5 Yosemite
PS : Remember anyone wishing to install Pro Tools 12.6.0 .., that there are NOW new special licences that need to first be authorised by going to your ilok account and authorising it there . Once the newly supplied licence for P.T 12.6.0 is authorised, then this procedure will automatically de-authorise the older licence . Also note, that with the NEW 12.6.0 licence , ie; once it is Authorised on your ilok account - it is backwards compatible to work with all earlier versions on pro tools (see the DUC forum for further info)
PPS ; I am Not updating to SIERRA yet either until confirmation that protools, and all my plugins & V.I's have been reported as all good to go on SIERRA from their respective developers

I ran it for a couple hours today with no problem. However I am not on HD, so a lot of the new features I don't have access too.. My other studio has the HD license so when I get over there I will give it a try and probably try to come up with some Cool BCs for the new clip audio suites.

If you upgrade to Pro Tools 12 from 11. Can you turn in your Raven software for pro tools 11 for 12?

Hi Jamie .., just letting you know that I noticed an old Raven bug that has managed to sneak its way through to the new 3.2 Raven Update (BTW- I am using Pro Tools 12.6 Native - Mac Yosemite 10.10.5 )This bug is the red clip overload light (in any of the meters on the pro tools mix page). Whenever the red clip light is activated / triggered on any track meters , I cannot reset this Red light by using the simple 'one mouse click method' on the offending light (as is the usual expected behaviour within Pro Tools) ? .., a mouse click usually resets them instantly, and it still does on the edit page (ie; it is still behaving normally on the edit page), but due to the bug this is not possible to reset using this simple method when in the pro tools mix page when the Raven is running which is annoying. cheers.

This makes sense, as the Raven Overlay is blocking the mouse click to the meter. The Overlay will block most to meters, for instance you cannot option click a Fader to set it to Zero without first closing the Raven overlay. You can use the "Clip Clear" Raven button, or the SHIFT OPT C to clear a clip light in PT.
