Hi guys .., New Mac OS 'SIERRA' is expected to be available for general public release on the 20th September 2016 ..., The Beta version of Sierra and its framework has been available to developers for some time already .., Q1 - What have the good folk at SLATE been doing (behind the scenes) in pre-preparation for this soon to be Sierra OS release ? and.., Q2 - In a Ballpark timeframe .., After the Sierra Release are we looking at DAYS - WEEKS - MONTHS .., Before we can expect to see The RAVEN Compatible with SIERRA and updates available ?
Note; Raven users , Do not update to Sierra until you are sure that your DAW & all your other 3rd Party Plugins and Virtual Instrument and associated Hardware and Software has been declared compatible for Sierra. Installing Sierra too prematurely may cause you all sorts of problems . Also make a Clone of your system before you do the Sierra install (just in case you need to roll back)

Raven is working with Sierra. So shouldn't be any surprises. However if you like the way your system is working, I would stick with 10.11.5.

Cheers Jamie , I am still on Yosemite 10.10.5, and as a Pro Tools 12.5.2 user - I remain unhappy that AVID have still not fixed their broken AVID Core Audio after 2.5 years (ie; since Mavericks). AVID have also introduced many other new bugs and ERRORS into Protools (since they introduced their collab feature) and these also need urgent fixing I am hoping that SIERRA and the soon upcoming new release (ie; Late Sept 2016) of Protools version: 12.6 can finally fix all of these ? Other reports I have heard on the grapevine so far ..., Is that Sierra is expected (?) to be a much smoother, more stable and more CPU efficient operating system overall (than Yosemite & El Capitan), whilst also being a less troublesome platform for developers to work with (?), which I am sure for you guys would be a welcomed relief. Sierra is also apparently reported to fix the GPU glitches that some users are currently experiencing with Yosemite & El Crapitan.

Yeah it will be while... UAD is not working with Sierra. Does Slate Everything Bundle work? It works great on Yosemite.

The only issue is there is a Magic Mouse problem with Sierra. So the Magic Mouse is wonky with tight editing like pitch or CAD and Photoshop programs. It is reacting slow. When you push down and hold on an element it is interpreted as doing a selection due to the SLOW reaction.
