Hi everyone,
I'm getting my feet wet a bit trying out the windows beta for the raven and am having some issues I hope someone can help me with or clarify what I'm doing wrong if that's the case.
-When I hit the "customize toolbar" button, I don't have any toolbars with blank batch command buttons like I've seen in the training videos. I know I can create blank ones by clearing already existing ones, but I'd rather just have some blank ones to use like in the videos I've watched. Is this a glitch in the beta or am I doing something wrong? Here is a screenshot of what I see when I hit "customize toolbar". Raven Toolbar
-When I am in the edit window and I hit the mix button, the screen shows parts of some grey faders sitting on top of the PT mix window. If I then hit the "raven mixer" button, the greyed out partial faders disappear and I can see the PT mix window fine. If I hit the "internal mixer" button instead, it takes me to the Raven mixer and everything looks fine. Just wondering why when I hit "mix" that the screen is screwed up and it takes extra button pushes to get it right. Here is a screen shot of what I'm talking about: Raven Mix Window
-Recording batch commands: I have two issues/questions here: -When I hit record in batch commander to record some commands, no mouse clicks are recorded. It is not recording any mouse clicks at all. I don't mean clicking and dragging. I mean simply clicking on something like the audiosuite tab at the top of the PT window. Am I missing something or isn't it supposed to record my mouse clicks?
-When I try and record a batch command by using the Raven touchscreen instead of the mouse, it records some actions, but not all. For example, I try to create a batch command to open the stock audiosuite PT 7 band eq, select one of the telephone presets and render the processed signal. BC will record opening the audiosuite plugin, but it doesn't record any of my selecting from that point on. I have to choose "special effects" to get to one of the telephone presets, but no matter what I do, BC always just selects one of the presets in the first preset window that opens which is acoustic guitar. It won't allow me to record any moves beyond that first open preset window of "acoustic guitar" and one of it's presets. I've tried using the mouse and also just using the raven touchscreen and same result. Any ideas?
thank you in advance for any help,
Steve

Try breaking down the recording into separate pieces, A click, then add key commands using they batch command. The recording function is mainly for single Clicks, don't try to do too much in there because the delay time won't work your faders are Gray because you are not aligned correctly.. They video will show you how.: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tm47Qs91_BAslatemt.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/215813558-Pro-Tools-Internal-Mixer-AlignmentThere's quick list items for clicking the preset menus of audio suites these are going to be better because they search for the image. I'm going to shoot a video next week on how to use the alt key to get to different menu items..

Thank you Jamey. I thin that video will be very helpful. -I've tried recording just a single touch command like touching the plugin preset button on eq7, but can't get it to work. I have created a batch command that opens the eq7 in audiosuite, but can't record either a mouse click or a touch to open the factory preset menu. I've tried adding various delay time also and no luck. Not sure how much is my error and how much is due to beta. That video says at 4:39 that if I'm using the MTI2 that calibration is not needed so I didn't even mess with that, but I guess I go through that and see if it fixes it. Also, why do I not have a blank batch commander to choose from and customize when I hit "customize toolbar"? Can you tell me where the most thorough and well organized list of key commands is? I've seen some on the web, but a lot seem like either partial lists or are very disorganized.
tks again, Steve

UPDATE: Jamey, I'm getting some erratic behavior from a custom batch command. Just trying to open an as eq7 plugin and open the preset menu. It works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. After programming the command, it works once or twice, then no more. fyi

Also, be sure to close any other audio suites that are open, since it may not know which one to click..
