I'm setting up the Slate Raven MTi in a second studio at my university. It had been previous installed and set up onto another computer but it is being moved to a new studio. After getting everything installed and connected to the iLok the only thing left seems to be adding the Raven under Controllers in V-Control Pro for Pro Tools.
When I select "+ Add new" it says: "A V-Control Pro Standard license is required to use this feature." In the manual itself it says "You don’t need a license to use Raven with V-control. Be advised that this version of V-Control Pro is unlicensed since V-control Pro doesn’t need a license to work with Raven." No such license has been installed on the iLok account so I have no clue if one was installed or necessary on the first computer we had the Slate hooked up to.
My question is, do I need a V-Control Pro license to add the Raven as a controller for Pro Tools in V-Control?

My question is, do I need a V-Control Pro license to add the Raven as a controller for Pro Tools in V-Control? Just open the RAVEN software and it will automatically connect.
