Thank you for your kind support Jamey, after further installation and some work on it, it seems that the problems have been resolved. Perhaps you installed RAVEN before Cubase 12 was installed?? I know if that happens RAVEN will have no place to install the preferences.

Hi Jamey, I haven't upgraded anything (including Raven updates) since 2020 with my Cubase 9.5 on Mojave and my Raven is an MTi2. I have a few questions before upgrading... (1) After I upgrade my OS to Big Sur on my Mac Pro (late 2013), will my current Cubase Raven license work for my upgrade to Cubase 12? (2) Do you know of any issues with the 3.9 Raven software with the Mac Pro (Late 2013) trash can type system?? I know that the Later 2013 can be a different beast on some things. (3) Also, until I do the upgrade, will the 3.9 update work well on Mojave and Cubase 9.5, and in order to hold on to some of my custom or preference settings, should files to prevent them from being overwritten before installing the new software update? I'm currently running Version 3.7.5. Thanks in advance for your insights and answers,

(1) After I upgrade my OS to Big Sur on my Mac Pro (late 2013), will my current Cubase Raven license work for my upgrade to Cubase 12? Yes, RAVEN license supports all versions of Cubase/Nuendo. (2) Do you know of any issues with the 3.9 Raven software with the Mac Pro (Late 2013) trash can type system?? I know that the Later 2013 can be a different beast on some things. Best computer ever, Steven and I both use a 2013 mac pro. (3) Also, until I do the upgrade, will the 3.9 update work well on Mojave and Cubase 9.5, and in order to hold on to some of my custom or preference settings, should files to prevent them from being overwritten before installing the new software update? I would suggest always saving your custom preferences as back up, however RAVEN will only over write the global Workspaces and not any key commands or default prefs.

Hi Jameyz,
I'm about to upgrade my MacOS to Big Sur and finally going to be able to upgrade to Cubase 12. Will my Cubase Raven license simply move up to support my new version of Cubase after installing the Raven update, or will I have to buy another license for the new Cubase version 12. I know it might be a silly question, but this is my first Cubase update since buying Raven. I can't imagine that I would have to buy a new license for every new version of Cubase, but thought I'd ask.

Never mind my last question. I think I may have answered my own question. While going through my process.

I'm back after upgrading to Big Sur and migrating my Cubase 9.5 world over to Cubase 12 on Mac Pro Late 2013... I have just two things I'd like to make sure I have the latest updated copy of... The latest: - Window layouts file
- Raven Steinberg keys
I can't seem to find direct downloads for those files. Only the entire installer, which I'd rather not reinstall everything. I'm already v3.9.6
I'm trying to merge and adjust my custom key commands to share space with the Raven custom key commands.
I've yet to master all the swish-bang fast action that I see in the videos, mainly because I haven't effectively honed getting the screen to sync or working with the useful pre-programmed Raven commands. The latest videos I've seen seem to be missing big connect for me.
So if there are a couple links that will point me to all of the, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Jamey - First, thanks for all your thoughtful support all of these years!! I've been using Raven/Cubase for a number of years. I have a new computer (Mac Studio running Ventura) and upgraded to Cubase 12. I have fresh installs of Cubase, Raven 3.9.6.221103. I set up UPDD and V-Control as described in the videos (including this one: www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzGaDpCIlBI) Though there were several starts and stops, I eventually got Raven opened along with Cubase and the Raven template. The problem I am having is in Studio Setup and trying to setup the Midi Port when I click add there is no option for Raven (nor V-control). I'm not sure how to go from here without successfully linking Cubase with V-Control. What would you recommend? How do I get Raven into the choices for the Midi Port? I appreciate your help. Bill

Jamey - I saw you said above that I could re-run the Raven installer and skip UPDD. So, I did that and the Raven option appeared when I added a midi-port. The Raven Steinberg keys also were available in the Key Commands. Unfortunately, the Raven Cubase preset was not available (in fact there were no presets available). So, I couldn't complete the last step.
Is there a way to search for the preset on my computer or download it from somewhere (for Cubase 12). Or, I could see the sync check boxes to change, which I can change manually. Can I change the color scheme manually? What needs to be changed?
Thanks Bill

I believe I was able to resolve if my assumption/conclusion is correct: I found another written guide (for Raven 3.5) where it mentioned that the default colors were required. So, I didn't make any changes. So, it largely works, but when I bank to the right or left, the Cubase faders don't bank until I touch one of the faders. Is this because I do need to change the colors? Is there a way to resolve that without having to touch the faders? I'm almost there.
Thanks. Bill

Bill Banking would mean the scroll bar is not showing in the correct spot so the click to bank is not hitting the correct spot. Hit up support and send a screen shot of your mixer alignment. Here is the link to start a support ticket for the Raven. slatemediatechnology.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
