Hi! Sorry if this has been posted before - did a quick search and couldn't find anything.
Anyways, finally got PT HD (v. 12.5.0) and ditched Logic for mixing and love the fact that now I have all the advanced automation options however I was wondering if there's a batch command button that can be programmed to "punch out" and auto match? I know that there is a command in the quicklist already but it's a mouse movement which means that by the time you push it, the mouse moves and it gets to the button, it's too late for it to be in time with the musical punch out you want. I know that you can program a button on a EuCon surface for it so I assume there should be some sort of mapping that's possible but haven't found it.
Same would apply to the down arrow for preview and the other write buttons?
Thanks!
Alex

Unfortunately Eucon is locked to Avid products. The mouse does have to click the button in the automation panel. But shouldn't be that slow, perhaps you could press a second earlier to trick it. Or maybe the iPad app for PT could give you this function. But if you do enable Eucon for this app, you would loose meters in the external mixer.

Hey Jamey, Thanks so much for the info. Yeah I was dreading that reality. Oh well, I'll see if learning to pre-hit it makes sense or if not just keep using the mouse for that.
Thanks as always!
