Check out this video to learn how to create Batch Commands that will open the Digital Performer 11 Track layouts and Window Sets. This is pretty cool Jamey, there are some new features that make Track layouts less desirable for this than before, especially with the Ravens built in batch commander. So Evan Goldman set up a search system to allow marking of templates with characters that allow for the search function in the Tracks window to be used in any project to throw out templates. So with Batch commands you can search for any track with £ in it for instance, and if you put that symbol on any brass channel it only shows the brass. This can be doubled up. So Im in the process of coming up with my own search items that I can add to a track name that allow for things like a search query that shows only tonal percussion, or both tonal and atonal percussion, or only strings and brass etc. So basically some version of leetspeak that doesn't completely kill the track names in the Raven and allows for search to be used for universally useful layouts like "show only Strings" etc. I think that with mix down though Track Layouts become more useful, so there's room for both methods.
