Anything specific for DP? I see that Pro Tools, Cubase and Logic all got specific things done, or are we to write our own multi gestures?

Anything specific for DP? I see that Pro Tools, Cubase and Logic all got specific things done, or are we to write our own multi gestures? Hey Brotherman Machinesworking, it don't matter... The Jamey Z how to use demo 3.7 video for PT translates to DP... There are something like 20 gestures pre-labeled. In Jamey Z video he is doing horizontal vertical editing and some track adds... He has a pre-labeled button "Fit To Track." I don't know if that comes with 3.7 or DP but I did not see it. That said again, pre-made doesn't matter. Here is what I did. Follow JZ's video for setting up the UPPD for Gestures. Then open your Commands Window in DP. Scroll through and find a command you think you would use frequently. Build a Batch Command Button using a DP command and keep open the BC. Then choose the "Gestures" option in the quick list header and pick a gesture from the drop down list like "swipe right." The BC you have open will assign that gesture to that BC button. Save and close everything. In essence think of it as the Gestures 3.7 is another way of firing a Batch Command Button. If you have some BC buttons you use all the time you could make those a gesture but it does not replace the BC button. I'm so used to where the buttons are on my BC rack and also they are labeled. The "Gestures" you have to remember what BC button they fire. I'm not sure I could remember all 20 gestures without some cheat sheet using the notes window in DP. So I'll pick a few gestures to do editing zooms like open and close takes or go to next insert by scrolling down or up. I'm not sure yet the best use but the new gesture thing is definitely way cool. Better then before because it's totally customizable with a 1000 commands in a gesture. Maybe JZ could do a video using DP sometime or get a DP user to do one and show some DP love... lol
