I contacted my supplier of my mti2 the day I received it a reported a faulty mti2 to them , they gave me A link to slate support ,I waited to see if the problem cleared with others reporting a misting effect on the screen ,after 2 weeks I deemed it is not condensation and its faulty , I filled in the details on Saturday and have not heated anything back there's been no reply saying they've received my query
how long does it normally take for support to get back to you ,it looks like my mti2 is faulty it has two smudge marks one running down the middle of the screen and a smaller one going across the screen also there is what looks like a dead pixel off to one side.i didn't see the dead pixel at first desktop was white.only noticed it when I changed the desktop colour to try and photograph the problem.
the smudge marks are visable on a plane colour screen in protools they don't stand out.
fingers crossed this is just an isolated problem and that the panels in the mti2 are top notch.

I have the same thing. Mostly noticeable on a white screen. The marks are on an exact 90 degree angle. Like an upside down T. It looks as if you can see the construction behind the LCD screen. Trying to capture it in a picture is hard, but I attached one anyway for you to see what I'm talking about. I don't really notice it while working in Nuendo, so I'll let it slide. Besides, it took me 3 months to get my hands on one in the first place. I guess that's the downside of cutting production costs, which is also the reason why we are able to afford a Raven. Or 2 :-) Marty.
