Hi.
Quick question. When I select a tool (e.g., arrow, range, paint, bend, etc.) using the Raven buttons, my cursor immediately jumps from wherever it is on the screen to the button I select. It is still in whatever state it was in before I selected the new tool then changes to the new tool once I drag it back to its original position.
As I recall, this does not happen with Cubase. You select a tool with the Raven buttons and the cursor changes in place to that new tool.
Anyone else experience this, or do I have a setting incorrect? (Enable mouse/keyboard simulation is OFF btw.)
Thanks!
George

Hey Gnapier,
Can you post a quick video of this?

The buttons on studio one should just be the basic key commands for the selecting the tool. Did you import the Raven key commands into S13?
You may have found a bug, we will do some digging after the new year..

Yes I can post a video and will do so in the morning.
Yes, I did import the Raven key commands.
BTW, there is also a bit of weirdness with the REW and FF buttons. They work only if I repeatedly tap them. (More accurately, they only advance or rewind the video upon lifting my finger after pressing a button.) Holding them down does not cause the rewind or FF action to occur.
In Cubase, this function works as expected.
I'll put that in the video too.
Sorry to be a bother.

Hi. Here's a link to the video. Please let me know if you need additional info or have questions. There does not seem to be any automatic notifications on threads possible in the forum unfortunately. (Would be nice.) I'll try to remember to check back periodically. Thanks. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbauBKdKXN8

Thanks for the video, makes a lot more sense now. Please email me at jamey@stevenslate.com and we can set up a screen sharing session to check out a couple settings.
We will also have to add a mouse return function when pressing on the batch commands for the toolbar; so that will take an update..
