Hey all, I just picked up the BC last night and it's already saving me boatloads of time. However, I'm still feeling around in the dark on creating custom tasks.
Here's my project: I have ~15 hours of audio recordings of a bonsai competition critique. There are 5 judges and 72 trees, each critique is 2-5 minutes long per tree, each judging session is about 160-200 minutes long. Each track is labeled by judge's name and I've spliced each region down to individual tree critiques.
What I'd like to create is a command that can consecutively bounce each 2-5 minute critique individually and name them based on the clip name. I've seen in the Quicklist that there are a few options for consecutive bounces, selecting consecutive regions, copying the name and pasting it into the bounce, but I've not been able to string any of these together properly.
My current workaround is to paste the regions into separate tracks, copy the name of the region into the name of the track, and bounce using the BC Bounce Selected Track command. I know I'm adding extra steps, but it's keeping it organized well for me.
Is there a good way to create this command? Thank you for all your knowledge!
Tech Specs: PT 10, MacBook Pro 2.6 GHz i5 16GB RAM, OSX 10.9.5

Tech Specs: PT 10, MacBook Pro 2.6 GHz i5 16GB RAM, OSX 10.9.5 great idea. Here are a couple BC's to get you started. It should 1. Copy Region name 2. Bounce and paste region name with the date 3. Wait for bounce to close 4. Scroll to next region and repeat the sequence. just download these, and import them into your user folder by selecting "import" from the quicklist menu. they will do 1 region, 10 regions, and 20 regions. I just duplicated the X1 script 9 times to get the 10 and 19 times to get to 20. So they are all the same script.. COPY REGION NAME PASTE IN BOUNCE WAIT FOR....ravbc (1.62 KB) COPY REGION NAME PASTE IN BOUNCE WAIT FOR....ravbc (15.84 KB) COPY REGION NAME PASTE IN BOUNCE WAIT FOR....ravbc (31.48 KB) P.S Be sure all other extra windows are closed so that the "Wait" function doesn't get confused. i.e Plug in windows, transport, color palette, etc.. So you should only really be showing the edit window, with mix window behind it.
