I've been demoing Batch Commander and I really, really like it. I've ported over many of my most used Keyboard Maestro macros. One that I can't get to work involves switching programs and firing keys in another program.
Here's what I'd like to do. I'd like to copy the current timecode position in Pro Tools and then switch over to excel and paste it into a cell, move down a row and switch back to Pro Tools. The I'd like to do the opposite where Excel is the source and Pro Tools is the destination. I use this all the time for making ADR, Foley, VO or any type of cue sheet I need. Then when I'm ready to record I can simply work my way through the list.
I've not find a way to do this as when I try to enter the command "command+tab" to switch over to Excel. When I try to enter it in BC it fires off the key command in the OS rather than adding it to the macro. Is it possible to do anything like this? My work around has been to just assign a button to a Hot Key that in turn fires of my Keyboard Maestro shortcut.

This is really sweet workflow. PM me your skype name and let's chat about hooking this up. I am sure BCer could do it, but need more details.
Peace

BCer only speaks to the one program that is selected on opening.. We can try to make a version that would open up to any program..
But we can add a script that will open Excel move down and paste or copy..
I already made something like this for Text Edit.. See if this is something that would work..
