I've been making some of my own batch commands in the new update (2.1.0) and I've noticed that I can't use the option key as a key command. At least not when it's option + another key such as "u" . If its a key command that uses option + command, or another modifier key, then it seems to work. Also when entering in the key command to rename a track which is shift + return, when I execute the command, it only hits return which causes the session to start playing instead of renaming the track.
The only work around I've found was to keep version 2.0.1. Open that up and enter my batch command in there and then hit save. Then under quick list in version 2.1.0, the batch command will show up under user and will work fine. If anyone has any other solutions, let me know.

Also, I've noticed that the quicklist item for "Load preset 1" seems to be missing. "Load preset 2" and on seem to be there though. This is a great feature for when I'm tracking vocals and I want to have 1 button to create a new track, load some default high pass filtering and compression and duplicate it 4 times then name all 5 vocal tracks.

Those actually should be in there at all. The mouse click seems to break logic on some sessions,. But i have a couple other ideas to get this to work. peace

That is definitely a bug, I remember reporting that a while back... Somehow Raven is not using the right "Return" function... will try to get this fixed asap.. peace JAmey Z

Should have an update soon, for now if u import the naming BC's into your user folder you should be able to change change the script and it should work.

Thanks! I have imported the BC for naming drum tracks (4), and modified the script to reflect my names. This works fine for 4 tracks. The strange thing is, when I try to extend the sequence to name a fifth track using the same commands as the first four, that is when the result goes awry. When the BC button is pushed, the first four tracks are named correctly, but the fifth is not and the session starts playing.

Hey guys,
I have tried opening the batch command file in text edit (Mac) and attempted to work around the "RETURN" key bug.
Here's whats in the Batch Command
" <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<BATCHELEMENT> <HOTBUTTON labeltext="NEW Track" keyColor="3"> <HOTMACRO label="ctrl + option + return" action="58_59_36" delay="0" repeat="1" macroType="0"/> </HOTBUTTON> </BATCHELEMENT> "
Any idea what number should I replace number 36 with?
Cheers, DV

I think the problem was deeper since 36 is the right number. This issue is resolved and will be updated very shortly.
